Once I write a text about anime that I think is worth knowing, I will definitely include the "Initial D: Legend" trilogy in it. The third film is a sensational culmination of the whole, as well as closing a certain stage in Takumi's life. From a regular Tofu supplier, he became a driver with the potential for a Japanese steering wheel master. I will start with an introduction in which the main character in one, short scene, showed us his development since the times of racing in 2 parts. He had been an insecure young man before, or bluntly - he had no balls. In "Mugen" vel. Although "Dream" still has moments in which it lacks confidence or is easily broken by pressure, but you can see a big difference. He can quickly get together and stabilize his emotions. I forgot to write about it in more detail in the previous text, but "Initial D" shows the way to success and (in a sense) what self-development looks like. Maybe there are not many examples, maybe my opinion is a bit exaggerated, but I got the impression after a few scenes. You can see it even after the moments when the characters talk to each other, exchange comments about their skills and riding style. Or after the characters from film to film develop.

In turn, Takumi's father in a great and natural, non-invasive way, taught his son how to move on the road and maintain a balance that ignores many newly baked drivers. It's a truism, but I can easily relate it to many examples from my life, on both sides. Ie. when I won by keeping calm and doing my job or losing because of inability to control my emotions. If we have good equipment and are able to drive, then our worst enemy is often ourselves, because we can sabotage our actions. Anime shows how important it is to maintain balance and control emotions. It is not just about being calm, but also about feeling the right moment to attack. Thanks to the requirements of his father with a glass of water, the young protagonist had to try harder than other novice drivers with ambitions to become professionals. I associate it involuntarily with one thread from the last episode of "Tower of God", in which Rabbit grows Rachel for her pride and inability to perform the tasks that Bam did. Similarly with almost every driver who challenged Takumi. The exception is Ryosuke Takahashi, the first drifter that poses a real threat to our protagonist and is the first to make the protagonist give 100% power.

In the third film, we also get to know other heroes a bit better and learn a little bit about the past of Takahashi brothers and Bunt Fujiwara, the father of the main character. We even get a part of the race in which the old fox shows us some of his skills. The guy is an absolute over-fucking-god, like Yujiro Hanma from "Baki". They even have a similar scene that shows their gigantic skill - Yujiro extinguished the cigarette with his heel while making a jump, and Bunto at total slack, while performing sharp drift, started to light a cigarette. So what if they could crash into a railing or skid, or onto some damaged part of the asphalt, just like one of the drivers in one of the previous films. So what if his friend was almost full of fear - the type lit a cigarette as if he was sitting in his bar and just finished washing the dishes. On the other hand, in the case of Ryosuke, we get a very short history of his team and we learned what his nickname was before he became known as one of the Takahashi brothers.

As for the final race, it was pure awesomeness. This fragment is Netero vs Meruem, only in machines, but it is not an important detail. The rest is the same - a full-blooded fight on both sides, a duel of ingenuity, willpower, confidence in your skills and your equipment (i.e. that you won't manage to crash before the end of the race) and controlled confidence. Takumi's voice actor could finally snatch his face out and show off his skills. And we're talking about Roy Mustang, Dust Weber from "Fullmetal Panic", Walter von Schenkopp from the new LotGH, James from "Pokémon", Zamas from DBS and Uruhar Kisuke from "Bleach", so the guy really gets his profession. When at a critical moment he performs this drift (enters from the inside, between the concrete and the opponent's car), my brain exploded. This scene proved that extreme courage equals extreme stupidity, as in horseshoe theory. Takumi has giant eggs, say it's about the size of watermelons, say nothing. He fucked himself between the speeding car, with only a concrete wall on the side. Due to the fact that "Initial D" is not a fairy tale-like DBZ, "One Piece", "Naruto", in which you approach the injuries after a collision / getting a sharp object rather gently, this maneuver is (to put it mildly) risky. The slightest mistake, the slightest contact or abrasion with a Ryosuke's car at this speed and overloading both machines would end in a tragedy. Takahashi had space to slow down, he would have to be unlucky to lose his life in this situation and he would not hit the concrete but the railing. In turn, in the case of Takumi, one can only speculate how much his car would be demolished and the corpse massacred. In general, shit would be left of him.

Add to this one of the best songs that I know of all the soundtracks from "Initial D" as a whole and we have a beautiful show.

Music is the biggest advantage of "Initial D". I can't wait to see what celebrities await me in the next cinema movies and TV series seasons. Introduction to the story gave me as much emotion as many episodes of "One Piece" or "Hunter x Hunter", and it's only less than 3 hours!
