It was one of the best episodes of "Tower of God". An interesting test that takes place in several places, interesting but short skirmishes, climactic scenes. I will not call him favorite, because as a whole I liked 9, I read 10, which was very criticized by fans of Webtoon. I would probably complain about your place myself, but if I am, to be honest, in my opinion, there are not many reasons to complain. Sure, it would have been better, but it could have been a lot worse. Anime is very pleasant to watch and I am a little jealous of what they will be watching in one go. Well, but sometimes you have to leave your comfort zone and watch one episode a week.
The test itself was cool, although the admission to it did not set me very enthusiastic. Except for this bull ("why is this creature called?"). Fortunately, the test came out more interesting, goblins proved to be too dangerous opponent for spearmen, which means Khun will have to additionally combine. In the next episode, he'll probably find out that he lost his two main allies and wonder what he'll come up with to pass the test. Well, and speaking of girls, I really liked their action against this bull. For a moment I felt like in DBZ with Vegeta and Goku, who similarly approach the fight with a strong opponent, and both very much want to fight him. And one thing wonders if Yu didn't lie? He said that even Rankers have a problem, is there that some run away from him in fear? Or maybe the sheep had deliberately manipulated him to trap his sisters into his trap? Anyway, the most important question remains - how strong is the coffee lover, since Anaak was quite easily defeated by a sheep, which in turn was devastated during a solo skirmish with Yu? He didn't have many opportunities to prove himself there, and in this episode he could be really scary for a moment. Especially with such an experienced voice actor who can properly modulate his voice tone. From a character with a comical look to a being who is difficult not to be afraid. He trampled Anaak well, not only physically but mentally. Scenes how lazy with her mother and insults her alone came out in my opinion much harder and more interesting than those previous flashbacks. In that scene I hardly felt any emotions, and there was anger, regret, despair.
The scene in the Rankers room was also interesting. Quant sat there carelessly suspecting nothing, and Lero Ro immediately began to suspect something. I wonder if he'll intervene when he sees what happened to Endorsi and her dad's sister. From what I read in the Wikipedia dedicated to ToG, there is no chance in the fight against a coffee lover. Well, unless Yu does it all on purpose to trap a sheep without a way out? And if not, then wondering why Yu works so stress-free? Is he not afraid of consistency and death at the hands of e.g. the rabbit we met in the first episode?
And finally, by the way of music. Just as you can have legitimate grievances against the rush (in this episode I didn't feel it at all, I hope that all episodes will have such a pace in the second season!) Or cutting out material from the webtoon, so the soundtrack and its editing in "Tower of God" it's really good work. The songs are well assembled with the scenes and although the scale of the events is not too big, the climate is very sublime and cool. I love backing vocals and ToG delivers them in large quantities. It felt especially at the end of the episode when the tension reached its zenith. From what I saw after a few pictures from the comic years ago, Anaak will survive this action and will continue to travel with Baam. Apparently, it is obvious, but after the series in "Hunter x Hunter" climates, you can expect unexpected deaths.
