Couldn't agree more with all of these reasons to travel alone. Did it for 7 years in Asia. Made so many new fiends, had so many great experiences, did so many things that I might not have done had I been with someone. And, sometimes you do find your partner on the road, which is awesome. I didn't but I met others who did. Travel, food for the soul. Don't we all love to feast on it :)
