The importance of being calm and not die trying

When we repeat our routine day after day, it can harm us as times goes.

Hello all. Well, I have decided to address this issue because leading a relax life seems to me of vital importance.
Today, we are living in a world where we are rushing around, because we need several Jobs or because we have several obligations and responsabilities to fulfill, and this prevents us leading our own life in a calm way.
The problem arises when we ourselves do not know how to manage all the things we have to do, and these lead us to stress situations eventually, which in addition guide us into worse damage like anxiety or other kind of problems. They affect our organism us without being aware of it, for that reason we have to live in calm manner and try to organize ourselves well not to have those problems in the future.
I recall my time as an student when I, apart from studying with all that it implies (getting up at 6 or 7 in the morning, going to class all day, making the necesary homework, studying for exams, and as if that were not enough I had to do some projects where I needed a whole week to get it done in the way I was content with) worked in the weekends. Although sometimes it was nearly imposible because I had to study to pass my exams I also, in some occasions, looked for time to spend with my friends to unwind. It needs to be said that the later was virtually imposible because I had to study after I finished working so no time was left to relax and disconnect.
At that time I was rushing but to the extent possible I was calm too, that is I had no problem at all, but I have to admit that if you do not know how to magane this stress, it can lead to anxiety or other problems as stated lines before.
Some tips I consider important to handle any stress situation as best as possible are:

  • Be optimist: maybe you have plenty of things to do but surely, at the same time you have many things to thank in your life, therefore you do not have to think everyting is bad. Sometimes just changing your mindset from negative to positive can make a stresfull situation to diminish in intensity and you to feel better.

  • Also, you can get involved in activities you enjoy practicing in any spare time you have, and then forget about everything you have had to do during the week. This is a way to forget your routine and relax, and of course your will achieve that as your daily obligations as any type of problem you have at work or studies go to the background in your life.

  • Having healthy habits is a very important point to consider, that is to say to eat adecuately, to avoid sweets, to do sport daily, and to sleep well.

  • There is another thing that is helpful for me in stress situations, and this is to imagine something you like a lot, that relaxes you, like to listen to your favourite music, to smell your favourite perfume or to eat your favourite food.

  • On the other hand, something that served me a lot to avoid stress and to feel myself better was to meet positive people and that were giving to me good things, because everything counts and adds up, and when you have contact with negative people and filled with problems all of that ends up affecting you, getting you nervous or preventing you being relax or calm.

In conclusion, we should maintain a general balance as our emotions or thoughts lead us into situations of stress or anxiety and they can lead us to experience bad emotions without any need. Therefore it is important to take care of our inside, our habits, and what kind of people we want to be accompanied with.
And remember, it is never late to change and to start a new life with joy, pleasure, and happiness!.
