A bit of Europe anchored in Venezuela
Recently my husband and I celebrated 5 years of marriage and to celebrate we decided to go on a special trip to the place that I consider is a piece of Europe in Venezuela, it is called Colonia Tovar and I put that description as it is a colony of German descendants who came to our country with the intention of cultivating the land and settle in Venezuela, since their country did not pass through good times, the truth is that until the sun today they have maintained their customs and culture that has passed from generation to generation.
It is a beautiful place, its architecture, the climate, its people, its food. In this post I will share a little of what our trip was.
We stayed in beautiful cabins, with a beautiful view, ideal to rest and enjoy the atmosphere as family.

One of the best things to do in this place is to eat, and between one of the most sold foods are German and Polish sausage burgers ..
For many visitors the Tovar neighborhood is just a small town of only 3 streets where you can find the trade and nothing else, but the truth is that it is not, it offers a large number of options for enjoyment, and pay to ride in a rustic that will take a walk through the peach and strawberry crops, through the different places beyond the center, is one of them.
So that's what we did
We started our tour making the first stop in a place where they make wine in an artisanal way with the fruits that are grown in the colony, they gave us an explanation of the process and then we enjoyed their beautiful gardens and then continue with our walk.
We continue our walk through the history of the colony, we go through the first houses built in the place and we go into the mountains to stop in the hydrangea garden.
Next stop, the chocolate shop, was the last place we stopped, continued the tour of the mountain until we stopped again where we started, we missed two stops that was the museum and the delicatessen where they made the biggest chorizo in the world. a ton, which were closed because of the monetary reconversion that was in full swing in our country of the rest, all cool.
Another nice place to visit is the tree house, which I just met through a post I read here by steemit and I thought that when I went to this place I would also visit it. It is a tourist lookout where you can also eat ice cream or things of the place.
(
Eat ice cream and strawberries with cream something you can not stop doing.
La Ballesta a place where you can do target shooting, horseback riding among others.
You can not miss the walk through the center and through the different mountain landscapes enjoying its unique architecture in the country.
Nature to love her ...
We had a great time, without a doubt we will return, according to my husband says that in the next paragliding I will be taking the photos from below haha ...
