Hello everyone ... tourists! Are you one of those who like the museum and have fun in them as well as a child in an amusement park? then on this occasion we present a new and unexpected option, if you did not know it before. This is MUSA, the first underwater museum in the world.
Many ideas come to us when we name the word museum; we have it from many, in different parts of the world, some newer than others, with different ticket prices and even free. We certainly have a lot to choose from when it comes to museums, but have you heard of any underwater? Surely not many people.
Started in 2009 as a project to protect much more what is marine fauna, awareness of people and support the growth of the coral life of the sea. MUSA opens its waters to all those tourists who want to explore this little known world as is the sea.Located in Mexico between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. MUSA has more than 500 sculptures made of marine concrete submerged to more than 10 meters under the sea that are totally pleasant with the environment and has 3 different rooms, these are Manchones, Punta Vizuc and Punta San, each of them ready for give you delight with its beauties.
There are different ways to explore the museum, each with different experiences, from those who like intense emotions to those who are a bit afraid, and that everything is designed so that no one loses this wonderful and unique experience. You can cross it with glass bottom boats, snorkeling and the favorite of many, diving.
If you need a guide, which is very likely, we recommend the people of aquaworld that gives you an excellent tour designed to enjoy more enjoyable fun museum. You can also visit the MUSA website where you can get more information, be informed on your blog, know your artists, history, photo gallery and much more.
You have at least 420 square meters to explore full of pure art and fun waiting for you. Musa will leave you breathless, and hopes to raise awareness about the pollution present today.
Maybe in the future they will make more museums of these in or other countries looking to attract more tourists, but, for now, this is the only one of their kind in the world. Also reminding tourists not to throw garbage on the dock and beach parties to take care of our places so that we and everyone else can enjoy this beautiful event. Remember, the difference depends on you.
Tips: Silent evolution is an army of more than 400 sculptures inspired by local people, who silently witness the underwater world. Among them you can find the sculptures of Charly and the man in flames, two of the most famous sculptures of this army.
Tips: Learn about the diving rules (If you choose that option to explore the museum) to have a smooth and totally satisfactory route.
Tips: The sculptures are made with marine concrete, material that is not harmful to the ocean, which at the same time helps the growth of the marine coral, as a solution to the problem of the loss of natural corals.
Curiosity: Several of the nearby communities were invited to collect hundreds of messages in bottles with writings full of values and aspirations; this for the sake of being discovered by future generations and were cast in the sculpture called The Dream Collector.
