One piece of advice I heard from the user who encouraged us to join this wonderful platform of steemit, @danielvehe, was that we MUST BE CAREFUL with plagiarism. Besides, we should differentiate to support our posts on other texts which may certainly give an example or a clearer concept about the specific topic we are writing about and another thing totally different is copying and pasting the textual words and to make merit for the effort of another author.
I have seen some cases when people post texts completed taken on Internet, and they do not care the work and effort that the original author invested to write that text; for that reason, when I read a text, and I am not sure if the person who posted it was the same who originally wrote it, I take time to find out this before upvoting. You must say that a vote less or a vote more is not a big deal, but for me, a vote has a significant meaning which is intended to communicate the author that you actually read the text and you liked it. Furthermore, you are supporting the author to go on.
Searching for a program which may be useful for me to do this task, I found a wonderful tool on the Internet that may help me to do it. Its name is plagiarism checker, it is free and you may find it following this link:
Once you entered the website and pasting the text you want to verify in the square provided for that, the tool allows you to detect phrases or text that was plagiarized and it also indicates the percent of plagiarism in the text and the specific phrases were plagiarized. Besides, you can download a plagiarism report which I actually consider fantastic for those people who specifically work as teachers because they can use it at work to correct homework or papers to determine if students copying and pasting or those words were part of their own inspiration.
I hope you may have liked this tool and you are considering applying it to any field of your life.
