تستخدم طبعا لتعريف شي معين ومحدد
مثلا .. the pen << هنا قمت بإدخال (ال) التعريف the إلى الإسم pen
واصبح القلم معرّف ..يعني مش اي قلم
مثال آخر .. انت قاعد تقرأ في كتاب منهجك للغة الإنجليزية
لازم تقول the book .. لماذا؟ لأنك قمت بتحديد الكتاب , فهو مش اي كتاب
👈( ال ) التعريف النكره A
تستخدم لتعرف شي غير محدد , وهي منافيه في عمل الأولى
مثلا .. a pen ,,, ونقصد بإدخالنا لل ( a ) اي قلم , مش قلم محدد أو معين
👈( ال ) التعريف النكره an
وتستخدم هذه قبل الكلمات التي تبدأ بحرف من حروف العلة المذكورة مسبقا
مثلا .. an apple (تفاحة) بمعنى أي تفاحه فهي نكره
مثال آخر .. an elephant ( فيل ) ..وهكذا
