Mechanically, the car is equipped with a 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine equipped with a turbocharger capable of producing 261 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the engine is installed in a more backward position in the rear of the chassis to enhance distribution Weight of the vehicle. This power is transmitted to the four wheels via a new GR-4 four-wheel drive system that is able to improve the power distribution on each wheel as well as the division of torque on the front and rear axles. The car has an adjustable drive system with three driving modes: Normal (torque split between front / rear axles by 60:40), Sport (30:70) and Diameter - Track (50:50).
The car is available on 18-inch wheel rims, and comes with a brake system with 356 mm front discs and a four-piston caliper, while Toyota announced an electronically defined top speed at 230 km / h, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h during 5.5. a second.
The car also proposes an optional circuit package, including the Torsen limited slip-on axle, optimized suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport 4s 225 / 40R18 sport wheels. While the company did not announce the price of the car.
