With great pleasure and ecstasy, I wish to inform that I was opportune to attend and witness the first independently organized TED Talk here in Kano city, northern Nigeria. It was held just some few hours ago at the Aminu Kano Center for Democratic Research and Training (Mumbayya House), Kano City.

It held between the time frame of 9.00am to 5.00pm Sunday 31st December, 2017. So I could say some few hours last year.

This first independently organised TED Talk with licensed permission from the TED Talk organizers in the United States took many of us by surprise, because the number of patronage or audience I should say, was highly impressive and motivating.

Hundreds of people from all walk of life were in audience of this first independently organized TED Talk in Kano city, in fact, in the whole northern Nigeria.
Experts, specialists, and consultants from across many disciplines were invited to impact the audience from their oceans of knowledge.

As TED is incomplete with entertainment, traditional dancers performed their wonderful shows, really seeing is believing!
