One of the things that I liked was the narrative, the way in which the story was told completely broke as the others have been told, if at the beginning of the movie he tells you this is a tribute but I will not tell you the same thing again, it is as if they said the other seven have been equal, and this octave is not going to be, in half an hour completely changes the narrative of the film, not only the story that has echoes of episode 5 as episode 6, and clearly gives an tribute to episode 5 at the end of the film, is very narrated as Rogue One ... Has jokes, has a very sharp mood, has no jokes every 5 minutes, but put them at the right time.

However, to Luke Skywalker the character is completely turned around and taken to a much more interesting level than we had ever seen, the treatment given to Luke in terms of script and development visual and everything is bigger, they made it more complex, richer than what they did with Han Solo that in the previous movie, but it was that this was so in the original films, in the classic trilogies in which Han Solo was more superficial, more action, and the character of Luke was more psychologically built, with more conflict and that has been respected so obviously if there is a style Star Wars.

At a visual level it may be the best movie of the year, in visual effects there is a nod to the return of a character where I take off my hat for the way they have done it, for how they have respected the original and have made a new one, besides the origin of Rey is spectacular, there is also the incorporation of two characters with two very good actors, Laura Dern and Benicio Toro who do very good performances, which makes Laura Dern in the short time that This on screen is brutal and what Benicio Toro does is amazing, they know how to do the homage without getting heavy and saying that they copied, it is a brushstroke of what we have already seen.

The vast majority of new characters are women, as I said before Laura Dern, the character of Rose who is the new co-star who also changes many things, with the character of Poe Dameron there were many rumors about his sexual orientation , about if he was in love or not, but those who created the film know that this is not important so they continue leaving you with doubt, and honestly comparing it with episode 7, Poe Dameron is one of the characters that grows the most because in the first I did not have almost paper on screen, and in this installment it has a start and a development that takes it to what it has to be, what it has to become.

I also like that they have been able to give their role to the classics but without allowing the new ones to remain in the shadows, and definitely in this installment they take off fully and if we wanted to see what happened to them, in the next one we will see that everything that has to happen to them is with a different level of maturity, the character of Finn also mature very much, in fact his character has a structure different from the one we knew which elevates and empowers this character.

And definitely the owner of this trilogy of The Force Awakends, Rogue One and The Last Jedi is King, not as many thought it would be Luke Skywalker, however everything for the journey of Luke's hero was in the classic, on the other hand with Rey they gave a different turn. The Last Jedi seeks to change the game for the Star Wars saga, but as always having space battles, saber fights, new creatures, but above all an epic and exciting story, many will believe that The Last Jedi will be the one to claim the saga, if it looks like the Empire Strikes back but it is not exactly, take the best of the old driving it into the future, the twists in the plot make the movie very funny and from start to finish it keeps you fully aware of what is happening , as I said is what you expect from a Star Wars movie.
