    I'm starting to discover that if a post does not gain traction within 1 hr, it's NOT going to ever increase in $ or vote. Most posts remain in the $0 and under 5 votes from my observations. I think it has more do with luck than any topics or dress-up of a post. Not going to make $ in steemit if that's your desire. But if you like to discuss various topics you or others post then this is a friendly chat forum. Enjoy!
