It is believed that Chester must have committed suicide on thursday, the 20th of july. Police say that the singer who is 41, struggled with substance abuse, and is suspected to have killed himself in a private residence in Los Angeles County.
But Mr. Bennington had been open about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, which had fueled many of his biggest hits with Linkin Park.
Its such a tragic way to go for him, and probably the band, leaving a fans, friends and family devastated and heartbroken.
