Oops, JUSTIN BIEBER BANNED FROM CHINA.

More entertainment gist on the block.

The Cultural Bureau of Beijing has published a statement to the media, Friday explaining that unspecified misdeeds of the 23-year-old Canadian pop star meant that he would no longer be welcome on Chinese stages. OUCH!

"Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, no doubt, but he is also a controversial young foreign idol," the bureau said while responding to a fan's request for a "detailed explanation" about the absence of China dates during Bieber's upcoming world tour.

"As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviors, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public."

Thanks for posting this. It appears as though the Chinese government is clamping down and banning more high profile westerners, products and services in the last year or so..even Winnie the pooh has been targeted. It appears they may be taking slow and steady steps to withdraw themselves from the effects of certain western influences. Influences they have identified as being destructive to the fabric of their society.
