An amazing piece of cinema- The movie called JOKER is a psychological thriller which blew everyone's mind.
I guess most of you must have watched it. if not in cinema might be on amazon prime or any platform online. I just watched it yesterday on Prime and was thinking why did I missed it on big screen?
Anyways, before turning towards the plot of the movie, let me first gather enormous amount of applause and appreciation for Joaquin Phoenix. He is a superstar and just nailed the character.
Basically the plot revolves around a mid aged person Arthur who is a flop comedian by profession and have an ill mother (whom he loved a lot) with not so good living condition. He had unconsciously laughing condition and was frequently teased and made fun off. Due to which one of his co worker handed him a revolver.
One day he got fired due to his gun got visible during his performance as a clown and later on subway he was bullied and in order to save himself he open fired and killed all three men. Actually the Gotham city was suffering badly due to rich people like Wayne( You must have heard these names in Batman series)later due to Demonstrations against Gotham's rich begin, with protesters donning clown masks in Arthur's image.
Then discovering himself being a son of Wayne through his mother who was claimed to be delusional and mentally sick by the hospital made him anxious and led him to suffocated her with a pillow till she took her last breath. the twist and turns took place where he even realized that his girlfriend wasn't his but a mere delusion.
Then leading to more events happening and how he became more famous and explained his condition and the reality with many followers of his personality.
You just need to watch the movie to learn more about what happened next as I donot wants to be a spoil spot for people who haven't watched.
Trust me, just watch it and thank me later :p The movie had already claimed lot of fame that most of you must be aware of the name.
The portrayal of the character and his situation was amazing Cheers to the director & producer Todd Phillips, his vision and amazing cast made it all possible. The movie made me cry watching the misery of the Authur and his mental breakdown letting him to blow off people's head who mocked him and never supported him.
Just gave a lesson to be really good with everyone as you never know what they are going through, little love and affection goes a long way though.
I just loved the movie, what are your perspective on the film?
