The Gallaghers are back for the eighth season of the family drama, and they suddenly have a lot of money to burn after Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) sells their inheritance from Monica (Chloe Webb). It's a new beginning for several family members, including Fiona (Emmy Rossum), who swears off random romantic encounters; Lip (Jeremy Allen White), who has to sacrifice to maintain his sobriety; and Frank (William H. Macy), who comes out of a drug-induced fog and attempts to make amends for decades of disappointment.

The new supernatural comedy has been a fun diversion, propelled by the chemistry between the main cast. In tonight's episode, Max (Adam Scott) and Leroy (Craig Robinson) go undercover to investigate a bizarre incident at a swanky country club. They're joined by Annie (Amber Stevens West), who went to her fair share of country clubs in her youth. But this mission puts Max and Leroy at odds when they get overly invested in their cover personas.

Curb Your Enthusiasm
HBO, 10 ET/PT

Larry (Larry David) comes up with what he thinks is a brilliant plan to get his friends out of relationship problems. It doesn't work quite the way he hopes, and he upsets Funkhouser's (Bob Einstein) new girlfriend.
