I expected a drop in quality in season two.
I agree about them trying to make it complex and sophisticated. They implied that strategy well in season one but I feel as if they are trying too hard to do the same in season two.
I think season two big reveal will be that the man in black is a robot. I also believe its possible that at the last episode of the last season it will be revealed that every single " person " was a robot.
I agree. I think ending a story well is beyond a lot of these shows because of the mess they get themselves in trying to be clever in the first place.
I hope it doesn't end up like you described. That just reminds me of Lost and how badly that ended.
