Hi guys, welcome to my blog...
Well today, I'll be doing a very different thing on my blog...
*You know sometimes in life, we get tired of our normal and regular everyday activities and routines and the #steemit platform is not left out on this as creating good and long constructive articles can be so stressful.
So here's about my post today...
Just like my bio, I am a beautician (Beauty Entrepreneur) which is boldly stated on my blog and all my social media pages and handles. (This is for those meeting me for the first time.)

Working on my YouTube page and also my personal blog, so expect that soonest...
As a beauty enthusiast, my desire to venture into business didn't just come in a day. It's being a burning passion and I realised this at an early age. I started styling hairs as young as I can remember, way back in my early school age, I did all my sister's hairstyles while in "primary school".
I can't recall ever going through a normal hair basic training, it just came to me. However, sometimes when I'm in a hair store making my own hair, I can recall I always paid attention to every bit of details on a particular hairstyle I see them do.
Growing up, I started ignoring this skill because it was seen as a job for the unfortunate uneducated in the society. People place no value on skills like this and this was really not encouraging.
Though, I ways tried to ignore that part of me. In my Universities days, this was somehow discovered. I could never say a "NO" to close friends who wanted to have their hairs styled, then came back the skill.
I had most of my friends' hairs styled on various occasions and even most times have to make a choice of hairstyling for them when they really need to go for more complicated hairdos.
Do you know that at times especially when broke, (back in school days) I personally make my own hair (fixing my weavons). Yes, I can and I did that a lot of times.
It didn't stop at that, I somehow got to know I had good make up skills. Lucky me, at that time, I had never gone to a make up school, had no basic training. It just came and was developing per time.
This also I had to do for friends.
The real essence of this post
This post isn't for story sakes or to bore you all, but as an appreciation to God and an encouragement to all, never to underate a gift or skill. If you don't like yours or even have any, try not too look down on those who do and try to develop theirs.
Why Am I Grateful...
Today I stand to appreciate God for this gift from childhood...
"what seemed like a job for an uneducated person is now a business to me".
This whole journey of making it a business started after my university days, It came to me as an inspiration after a particular book I read. I started a new habit of reading any book, just to improve my intellect.
I later decided to do motivational books, in this I found the urge to do more for myself.
Thus the idea, "Turning Your Hobby And Passion Into Your Business came to me".
Before then, I can recall rejecting under paying official jobs just to learn more and improve my skill. I never felt comfortable being stucked to a particular place doing something that seemed unproductive to me.
Funny as it may sound, skills and talents are really paying massively these days and people are beginning to realise this and as such are venturing into these fields. In our society today, underpaying jobs are really not encouraging and not enough to suit our numerous needs and so there is the need for an extra income. They are beginning to learn and adopt a skill as a secondary source of income.
To be sincere, sometimes I envy people who do official jobs and wish to do one. Well, if at all I will have to do any, it just have to be a convenient and encouraging one (with time for myself and a good payment).
But on a second thought, I hope and wish to create a world class job for myself by working and turning my beauty business into a venture. Having investments and investors all around, this done, I will be achieving both being a working class Beauty boss with so much of official duties to do and have people do for me.
Am Grateful To Steemit.
