Interesting Concept
For the Holidays, I was enjoying some well needed time with my family. My sister had come across this interesting new pencil idea that originated in India that her boyfriend's dad was trying to sell.
The pencil is made from 100% recycled paper and can come in colored lead as well. The most interesting part about this pencil however is the fact that you can plant it. Yes, plant it. When you have sharpened this pencil down to a stub you no longer can use, it can be planted to grow a random plant. The ends seem to be made of something biodegradable.
The two I saw were Chili, and Coriander.
This package itself looks like you could put your company's logo or saying on it, while staying green. While I cannot seem to find a link for this specific item, there are some other alternatives it seems online.
If you prefer old time pencils instead of mechanical pencils, look into using these green alternatives.
