Environmental Problems is the sum total of all the external conditions and circumstances that influence the lives of all individuals, it also includes the behaviours, growths and development of individuals.

Types of Environmental Problems

  • Atmospheric problems: airborne infections CFC (Chloroflorocarbon) e.g. Carbon II Oxide-burning of woods.
    Flaring of gases.
    Sulphur iv oxide. SO2

  • Land degradation: desertification is a form of draught (shortage of rainfall, dry land) removal of topsoil. Erosion is a predominant problem which is the removal of topsoil.

  • Bio-diversity loss: The main cause of the loss of biodiversity can be attributed to the influence of human beings on the world's ecosystem, Sincerely, human beings have negatively deeply altered the environment, and have modified the territory, exploiting the species directly, for example by fishing and hunting and others.

*. Trans-boundary movements of hazardous waste: Waste producers are continuously faced with the problem of
disposing of their waste and must choose from among a number of different disposal and treatment options.
Increasingly they are choosing to export the waste to other countries where this is possible.
The amount of hazardous waste that is transported across state boundaries has increased dramatically in recent years though it is difficult to estimate how much hazardous waste is being transported over boundaries every year.

*. Toxic and hazardous chemicals: chemical hazards and toxic substances pose a wide range of health hazards (such as irritation, sensitization, and carcinogenicity) and physical hazards (such as flammability, corrosion, and explosibility).

  • Non-Vegetarian Diet
Following a vegetarian lifestyle can solve many of our environmental issues. Human beings have become so habitual to a non-vegetarian diet, they consider it quite natural. Now that the disastrous effects of indulging in meat-eating have been confirmed by United Nations and many different research organizations, we should rethink about what we consume. The greenhouse gases generated in order to produce food for a meat-eater are 7 times greater than those generated for a vegan diet. The above-mentioned stats reveal only the economic losses that result from meat-eating. The extinction of several animal species is the irreparable damage caused by this eating habit. Pollution and other environmental problems caused by automobile and industries seem negligible if compared with that resulting from meat-eating. Animal cruelty is another aspect associated with meat-eating which, no matter how important can’t be dealt in the context of information presented in this article

  • Pollution of water, rivers and oceans: this are industrial wastes, spillage, fertilizers, domestic wastes, sewage.
Rural pollutant- bathing of upstream, washing, excretion and fertilizers.
Urban pollutant- monisipa and industrial discharges, wastes.
Solid waste: it is the leftovers from virtually every man.

*Depletion of Ozone Layer
The ozone layer protects living beings on earth from ultraviolet rays of sun. This layer is becoming thinner day-by-day due to pollutants like nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, lead, particulate matter and carbon monoxide. Apart from the depletion of ozone layer, these emissions of gases also cause several health problems. Keeping a check on these emissions is the solution to protect the ozone layer.

Solution to Environmental Problems
Gas emission is being mitigated in a variety of ways with car emission control, electric and hybrid vehicles and public transportation systems. Not all major cities have successful implementation and decent public transportation in place, but the world is working on this issue constantly and we have managed to reduce emissions profoundly over the last decade. There is much catching up to do.

The cost of radioactive power plants is becoming apparent and the days of coal power plants are nearly dead. The radiation is a serious issue. from power plants and nuclear testing have already contaminated oceanic life to such a degree that it will take hundreds of years to return to normal. More radiation solutions are in the works with various ecologically friendly power technologies being built every day.

is a fantastic solution. Now that solar radiation is at a climactic peak, we can reap power from the sun using solar panel systems. These range from home systems to larger scale systems powering entire communities and cities.

is coming into play. This may not seem like much at first, but when you get about 100 feet off the ground, there is a great deal of wind up there. By building wind turbines to harvest natural wind energy, electricity is produced. Wind turbine power and are both powerful forces against fossil fuel power and radioactive power. The one problem here is power companies. They want to stay with radioactive power plants because they actually can’t be removed. It has become the crusades of many individuals and small corporations to make the switch and there are plenty of people following this as populations cry out for help.

(ER) reduction. Once major manufacturers of computers and electronic devices realized the blatant potential for huge ER emissions directly into the eyes and brains of users, they started to implement hardware protocols to minimize risks and reduce ER production significantly. Newer devices are in the lead to knock this problem out and, fortunately, this is working.

LET US ALL COME TOGETHER TO WORK AGAINST ALL FORMS OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION.

Just as a man would not cherish living in a body other than his own, so do nations not like to live under other nations, however noble and great the latter may be.
