Upon re-pressurizing Aliso Canyon's gas wells North of Porter Ranch, it was discovered that 13 of 39 are leaking, again. Until you demand better from your community, this will be the norm. It's almost like they are purposely trying to poison us.
One of my good friends is one of the very few in the area who are civicly involved in trying to stop this from happening. He is defeated and planning on moving away after suffering continuous headaches, nosebleeds, and more over the years this environmental atrocity has been committed.
"Anneliese Anderle, a former inspector and supervisor at the state oil and gas division, called it an incredible failure that indicated a systemic problem.
"It's a very high failure rate when you wouldn't expect any," said Anderle, who has consulted for a law firm suing the gas company. "It's really an incredible number. Each of the 39 wells had gone through a lot of study and remediation. These were the 39 out of 114 that were their best. ... It's not good."
