End of Monsanto?

Monsanto is a monster. Its heavy use and promotion of pesticides harm our food source and nature. Enter Paul Stamets' revolutionary patent that uses fungi to eliminate pests without poison. How does it work?

"Paul does this by taking entomopathogenic Fungi (fungi that destroys insects) and morphs it so it does not produce spores. In turn, this actually attracts the insects who then eat and turn into fungi from the inside out!"

That's scary and gross. But being a human, I'd prioritize the well-being of humans over pests any day. If Stamet's SMART pesticides become global, it'll topple the food giant and reinvent pest control.

I'd definitely love to see more testing of this to ensure it is safe in the long run - but yes, I very much agree that Monsanto is horrible and needs to be completely wiped out.
