EnVyUs have promoted Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss from their academy team to replace Christophe "SIXER" Xia, the US-based organisation have announced.

SIXER has been moved to the bench after failing to impress during his 15-month tenure with the team, whom he had joined in late 2016 to replace DEVIL .One of France's most experienced players, the 26-year-old averaged a 0.96 rating on LAN with EnVyUS, and was constantly the subject of criticism from fans. His replacement, hAdji , was part of the Platinium eSport roster that reached the semi-finals at ESWC 2016. In April 2017, he joined EnVyUs Academy whom he would help to win the Gfinity Elite Series UK Season 2.

The 22-year-old, who played for EnVyUs in the online qualifier for StarSeries i-League Season 4, becomes the second addition to the French team in less than a week, after kioShima was brought in from FaZe to replace xms . EnVyUs will use the AWP less frequently following the removal of SIXER, with Happy set to pick up the 'Big Green' going forward, but only occasionally and mostly on the CT side. EnVyUs are now:

  • Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer
  • Cédric "RpK" Guipouy
  • Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitorm
  • Fabin "kioShiMa" Fiey
  • Ali "hAdji" Hainouss
  • Damien "maLeK" Marcel (coach)
