Steem and EOS will work together and EOS file storage will allow Steem top store all our media on chain as much as possible and not rely on off chain services or IPFS!

(For example this steemitimages.com link can in the future be our OWN steem run EOS file storage server and eventually we can have a new version of steem maybe hard fork 22 allow for an EOS file storage like system, we clone the system and taylor make it for steem and add features like getting paid to host popular files :D Beneficiary rewards would honestly be one way to allow for this, when you host the post that makes the most you get to Boast, and make a Toast. We can even have a new sort of curation system that can be tied to some IPFS or EOS storage like file system decentralized with users hosting each others files, like pinning a file on IPFS, even webtorrents can be thrown in there like @lanmower 's amazing idea replacing steem front ends that cost too much resources and money to host, with things like Apps or chrome extensions or just PUBLIC internet infrastructure, just use a persons web browser to be front end etc.
