I have a dream.... to surpass the EOS ICO by raising more than EOS did during its ICO and the secret is Bitcoin and Steemit. I will plan this around a company outside the USA, I will announce Americans are unable to participate and even airdrop to all existing Steem, EOS telos and TRX holders, but just enough to be a sort of advertisement but not enough to make them feel satisfied and thus the airdrop / airgrab will serve to entice these whales and dolphins on Steem, EOS and Telos to buy more of this new token they have been given for free.
The only reason EOS was able to raise so much money was because Bitcoin and Ethereum were going up so high so fast at the time of the ICO and because Investors followed Dan Larimer from Steemit and the steem blockchain which provided the proof of @daan Larimer and his technology which was seen as a potential solution to the crypto kitty scaling problems ethereum faced.
EOSIO and its technology had three main features that attracted the $4 billion USD worth of smart money investors.
Architecture of Dan Larimer (Speed of DPOS and its Free Transactions were impressive to mostly BTC/ETH users ata time of $20 BTC txs that took over 24 hrs )
Steemit Hype (Existing community on steem blockchain provided proof that Dan larimer's architecture works in the real world.)
Ethereum needed a Hero (Ethereum had its own Bull Run race with BTC and crypto kitties crippling the network showed the ETH community that a new system was needed and this DPOS architecture even helped Ethereum Community to get ready for their own to switch to POS which is happening now. Ethereum needed a hero and Ethereum On Steroids or EOS was that hero. However, EOS transactions now cost almost as much as ethereum with high CPU costs something EOS users don't want to admit but Steem users should be happy about as they show how an ungroomed garden can become unruley and hard to do business in.
I plan on the CONCEPT of a new ICO, and I dont plan on being the one who creates it just someone who seeds the idea. This ICO will be the last ico, the ICo to end all ICos.... Id like for that to be the case but let's get real.... ICOs are going to continue for as long as people have private money like crypto currencies . As long as a few ICOs are still making a small group of of people those 1000% early ROIs then we will have that same group of people chasing that 10x dream.
So instead of trying to just extract that value, we should be seeing the potential for someone, anyone, to fork steem and eosio, combine them with telos and trx, and create an airdrop airgrab sharedrop for all DPOS, and unite the resources of all DPOS into one mega group with the legacy of Bitshares, the social media of Steem, the Smart contracts of EOSIO and the marketing of TRX, and the Governance model of Telos. This one single DPOS project would ensure everyone who owned any DPOS token got a share, or could claim their share within 1-2 years, and we could do everything possible to include as many people as we could and learn from every mistake of @ned scott and @dan larimer
IMAGINE the SUper Human Bogdanoff versions of Ned and Dan creating Steemit and Steem in an Alternate Universe where EOS never happened and Smart contracts were just built into steem, steem got the block one investment, block one was part of STEEM and STEEM was the #2 or 3 cryptocurrency right now... THAT UNIVERSE EXISTS somewhere... its actually a VERY REALISTIC parallel universe... steem could have been a lot more powerful if we had more users earlier on and had reached 1 million active users in teh first two years with an extra push of investment (which would obviously have been worth it )
NOW IMAGINE taking trhe resources, websites, logos, companies, and energy from THAt universe where @dan never left steem and EOSTEEM is one entity... now IMAGINE bringing THAt dan larimer HERE to OUR universe
WHAT MEGA ICO would HE create today? THAT is the ICO I want to launch.... It will AIRDROp to all existing DPOS holders from Steem to EOS to Telos to TRX to even Bitshares..... but it will still leave MOSt of the Supply Open to an ICO so that we still have a drive for investors to BUY this new DPOS token
