Great post, we really need the community to utilize whatever tool is created and get involved in the voting process.
The common concerns are that your tokens will need to be staked for 6 months within a smart contract for voting. This is not true, it is only a 3 day lock in and those tokens can still be used for renting out compute power to dApp developers via the Chintai dApp if you wanted to do so.
You will remain the owner of these tokens, so you will still recieve airdrops.
