The BlockWorld conference is an annual conference on Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology. This year’s conference, BlockWorld 2018 took place in San Jose, California, USA. The team of the conference for this year was “Developing the Decentralized Cloud”.

The topics of discussions were: The Internet 2.0 and the future web, innovations, governance, compliance and dApp developments.

At the end of the conference, awards were given out in what was known as BlockAward 2018 and EOSIO (EOS) was awarded best in Protocols/Platforms.

Also, a few months ago, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released a ranking index of Cryptocurrencies. Based on this index, EOS still made at the top and Ethereum occupied second position and this was the case with the BlockAward 2018.
