You only have to look how Dan's first experiment Steem turned out to really see the kind of person he is. Steemit is an unbalanced spamfest with fat whales who do not care about the Steem platform and only making money. We shouldn't be surprised Dan "$$$" Larimer is now dumping ETH, it's a manipulative move designed to give the appearance EOS is better than Ethereum.

I read something just before that said serious security vulnerabilities and issues have already been discovered in EOS and it hasn't even launched yet. Everyone is quick to hype up EOS, but that's only because they want to make money. Everyone keeps calling EOS an "Ethereum killer" but seems to me EOS is an EOS killer.

Dan first experiment its wallet.bitshares.org .

Which has no relation with him anymore but works quite well to be honest. They even added a feature in less than a week after i opened a github issue.

Block.one paying 10K for each vulnerability found in EOS before launch is not the smart thing to do?

With less then a week till launch? I think this is really dumb... 10K is still way too less for a big vulnberability in such a system, where security is everything. They should postpone the launch and test the system more.

@goldenshark you're on the @abusereports naughty list!

Bad Steemian! Bad!

Just buy the "dip" and short EOS after its launch, EOS cant hold what they are promising. They want to achieve speed and security via DPOS, which favors whales, like you see on steem, so its not that decentralized and therefore not that much better than NEO, but atm the EOS blockchain is worth 3 times the NEO blockchain, without a working product...

I did not expect this from @dan... As mainnet launch of EOS is fast approaching, may be he is planning to pump EOS by dumping Eth... He could have possibly sell in small chunks without making significant price drop.

I did no such thing. The article is nothing more than ETH holders looking to blame a competitor for their own failings.

And you really expect us to believe you? That's cute, and absolutely absurd. You've shown your greed in the past, and I'm sure you'll show it again in the future.

You don't care about crypto, you care about lining your pockets.

Hi guys ... eos is 10 to 1 (eos 1,000,000,000 eth 100,000,000) tokens that is ...current calculations to match eth ( now that would be nice ) at 575 would give eos $57 Buy buy buy .... enjoy the ride ...all the best ....

apparently they will not release mainnet until this is fixed....what a shit show

A bug that was fixed and merged to master before they even posted the article?

regardless...you know how people are these days, they see this they panic.... no one wants another DAO situation

I had a feeling EOS won't live up to the hype... just because he helped make steemit and bitshares doesnt mean everything he touches automatically turns to gold....Tim Draper was 100% right about bitcoin but look what happened to the other project he shilled, Tezos....

@berniesanders you're going to find this interesting. I pointed out the dangerous levels of hype surrounding EOS in a post I published earlier here and I received a flag from Dan. It's a nice show of confidence that rather than address EOS criticism Dan would prefer to use his high-reputation and voting power to silence anyone who dares to speak ill of EOS.

shit show, really - so you think it'd be better if they start without fixing those bugs?

is that what I said?

It shows that RIGHT BEFORE RELEASE there was EPIC PROBLEMS found....lets not have another DAO please...

Such an overvalued coin....ethereum spiked due to ICO FOMO.... why the fuck do people think EOS at its current state can even come close?

Not only does EOS have 9x the supply in coins....but they have 0 infrastructure and yet people are calling for a price spike? funny when crypto people go full retard

what the hell does the number of coins have to do with it?

really? etherum was over $1000 at one point, for EOS price to get that high it would have an almost $900 billion market cap...............

Why must EOS go to $1000? $1000 EOS would give it a market cap op $900 billlion like you said.

For Ethereum to get a market cap of $900 billion it must go to $12,000USD

Why is that so much more unlikely?

You have some sort of weird backwards logic, or you have misunderstood what is important to value.

The price of the coins is uninteresting. If here were only 10 EOS, each EOS would have been worth 1 billion each. If there were only 100 EOS each would be worth 100 million, etc.

what I said clearly went way over your head or else you wouldnt type such nonsense lol

Well said. I can't believe people actually compare the "price" of individual coins. It's madness. The real comparison is between the marketcap.

interesting math, my friend. i'd rather not go into that.

Circulating Supply
887,790,275 EOS

do the math, its not hard....add 3 zeros...

forgive me for laughing :-) your logic is just funny.

@berniesanders are these the type of people who buy into EOS at these levels?

Are Dan and Dantheman the same person?

If so just curious why you were flagging Dan from day 1 but voting for Dantheman at the same time?

Man just look at that post reward and the top comment rewards...fucking massive numbers

Yes, they are the same person.

wow, there are a lot of dan to dantheman and dantheman to dan upvotes...pretty fucked...

He once upvoted me big time netting me 100 sbd...but he isnt done anything for me lately lol

No, no. You're not thinking big enough. All this is is just a part of a larger, elaborate plan to preserve freedom, life, and liberty. It's just too grand for a simpleton to understand.

If you don't believe me, I'm sure there's a 20,000 word rant about it somewhere.

Is the ETH ragedump in ploy to pump up EOS, cos that would have been done better selling it off slowly.
EOS has gained quite a strong resistance and shouldn't have been the best move for him right now. Not to mention the launch coming up pretty soon, this is making me start seeing the bad side.

You like #SPAM @SPAM dont you @berniesanders? #berniesanders @berniesanders ?^!([{DUMB OLD RETARDED FUCKER}]}!^?

He won't need to ever work a day in his life again...

the vulnerability of eos is something that has to worry all of us since we can lose our investment with a cyber attack if the nodes do not have the security that blockchain demands will be an easy target for hacker and all our investment will go for a toilet.

I worry more that the vulnerability is in STEEM as well. I haven’t seen any articles yet saying either way. Seems Bitshares and STEEM could be susetable to the same attack?

1 in 3 people prefer EOS to getting kicked directly in the nutsack.... the numbers don't lie I have metrics right here...

giphy.gif

The theory that @berniesanders might be @ned is back in play with this post.

Interesting theory you have got. Because of that here's my upvote 100%.👌

Dan larimer is a piss of shit and crab, how will he sell all that. Greedy suckers

Everybody can be greed in media since markets exists. This case won't be the last one and there will be worse examples...

Everyone IS greedy.

I mean. EOS has been called the Ethereum Killer for awhile.

ETH represents their largest competitor. Capitalism is a cut throat game. They hold a massive amount of ETH and are able to attack them by selling it. We shouldn't expect crypto to be any different than the shit on Wallstreet. We shouldn't be surprised when this shit gets crooked and dirty.

Like, Bitfinex and Tether are likely used to launder Columbian drug cartel money

What the fuck......I can't believe this, I thought he had issues with @ned that is why he left steem. EOS has gained the interest of many crypto enthusiasts I wonder what will happen after EOS lunches.

If he wants to screw Eth he would not be selling his Eth like this

Lol.
Be the next ETH by killing ETH literary.

Yes 100% douche bag. Like most involved with EOS. They should have called the platform NAMBLA. He will burn with that project.

Greed in crypto? No, no... it can't be true...

It's all part of a game plan

would you believe this tarazkp? I'm still in shock!

What the fuck else did you expect they'd do with it?

There is a difference between selling and dumping the fuck out of the market. @dan obviously feels threatened so it makes sense than he'd have as large of an effect as possible on the market.

I can't wait to see what he does when there's a Steemit competitor on EOS.

The reason ETH goes down exponentially when BTC goes down is because companies who issued ERC20 tokens and received ETH in their ICO's have to pay for shit. I don't think you can single out EOS because when the funding your company raised is cut in half over a couple weeks due to market conditions, and especially if the SEC is breathing down your neck, you at least have to try to not lose all the fucking money before you can get a product out.

As much as we want to think it can't happen, ETH could go to zero tomorrow if the right people wanted it to or any other number of reasons. Nobody knows what it's 'worth' because it doesn't have any of the usual things used to back up it's valuation. Analysts are still trying to make up bullshit metrics to value this shit.

The fact people were/are throwing money at these projects is a function of demand for speculative instruments/returns in a low interest rate/high instant gratification environment. At least Dan is likely to put out an actual product that works.

Let's say what would happen after its launching.

it's an unregulated market which means anyone can do anything they please, whether it's to suit their own profit model or for the bigger picture. If you're in crypto I don't think you have much of a leg to stand on when anything out of the ordinary happens. one day when crypto is regulated and nailed to the wall, everyone will lament these heady days of freedom. a brief moment, (ironically) when those without power could amass vast wealth from the pockets of the hopeful. nothing new here, nothing new tomorrow, just a new form of slot machine gambling and in the fullness of time, people won't distinguish between fiat and crypto and a million shizzle coins ! keep smiling and steem on I say :)

not defending him in the slightest. I don't know enough about the situation, but I was watching a youtuber talk about this, and he was basically saying that this is standard for all ICOs, the dump of the eth they collect.

Now, it seems to me (im no expert) that is not so much the action, but the timing and sheer size that is the issue. It did break some ankles on the way down, no doubt.

Totally agree with your comment ... maybe dan can leave a copy of my eos snapshotted amount come end of may and the eth guys can convert them to eth (airdrop if you will).... I would be more than happy to see them do that ...as would everyone else .... question is can they afford to bring us into the fold ....lol

this could be standard practice, ugly standard practice...

To me, it’s not so much whether or not stuff like this is ”wrong”. It’s just that @dan is a hilariously shady and hypocritical scam because he always says one thing and does another.

Why can't he tell the world the truth about his plan for EOS and not given them fucking hopes in the white paper.

I don't subscribe to the Holiness of a white paper like some do on here. I do think some of the ideas where too idealistic to be implemented, at least long term.

Regarding Dan, there seems to be lots of information on both sides of the argument. I for one found some interesting stuff on the bitshares project that left me scratching my head. It does not look right, and I'm trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but its hard to.

In any case, I try not to forget we are all human and Dan is not a god, he human and as such he messes up. I would hesitate to call him evil, but I would not hesitate to question his actions, because i dont understand them.

I wish i had as much money and as much of a rageboner as OP .

Keep the good job.

We don't have a horse in this race, but seem to be missing the "smoking gun" here. Either that, or the article is very poorly written.
