A blockchain operating system, wow just wow, this is the first time I have heard of EOS. But how does building an operating system on or around blockchain help or make it better than Linux or windows? why would you need to use a blockchain? I'm somewhat knowledgeable on codeing and how blockchains work but I think I am missing something, can anyone help me?

    You’re on a blockchain based app now. Steem. EOS allow developers to build more apps like this where the users are also the stakeholders. I believe that in the coming years the worlds largest companies will be decentralized autonomous corporations owned and managed by users.

      You still need an operating system, its just the starting process that got optimized, and the operating system smart contract you can imagine like a kind of domain specific virtual machine.
