It was a productive week for the Cypherglass Team. This week we drifted down from 22 to 25 in the BP rankings which we didn’t love, but as always we are working hard to earn people’s votes and move back into the top 21. The best thing that happened this week was what looks to us like a genuine thaw in the crypto winter.
Great to see EOS sitting at above $5. It makes everything easier for all of the block producers to put loot back into the EOS ecosystem. Stop by your favorite Cypherglass social media channel and check out all the cool things we are doing.
Here’s what’s happening this week in the wonderful world of the Cypherglass infrastructure…
• Our datacenter added an additional 20 Gbps internet circuit to our Kansas City facility. Always nice to have more bandwidth. Looking forward to the day when our gear is consuming all of that because EOS is the defacto application network.
• We changed out hosting for our SSL cert and made all the necessary network changes.
• Reconfigured our DDoS protection to use a different solution. For obvious reasons we don’t want to provide too many details about it in this report.
• Applied security patches to all servers.
• Did initial testing on EOSIO version 1.6.4.
• Started building 1.6.4 in our lab for more rigorous testing prior to production rollout.
• Let’s keep hoping the crypto thaw continues as we work our way into summer.
