Reponse to Vitalik's Written Remarks

You may be right, I did not mean to sound so aggressive.

You didn't sound aggressive, you were direct. You have done Vitalik the courtesy of evaluating his technology and do not spread disinformation. On the other hand you apparently are not receiving the same courtesy in return. It is perfectly understandable that unless detractors are prepared to extend to you the same courtesy, they are wasting your time by forcing you to have to explain yourself over and over lest the misinformation be allowed to stand and propagate. You are doing incredibly well and your patience is admirable. Your work speaks for itself and your efforts to listen, debate, educate, produce and learn are astonishing.

@benjojo speaks wisdom yet again~*~

Haha, I know right, I love reading his comments. :D

Yes a blessing to our community indeed!

@dan, I totally agree with @benjojo, I wouldn't change a thing. It's entirely possible that coming from New York City, my perspective on what's "aggressive" is a bit different than for others. Having your post called FUD, however, sounds awfully similar to what I just went through the past weekend with the bitshares issue I uncovered.

Ironically, this is why there is often so much opportunity in the markets. People often prefer to bury their heads than to tackle issues head-on. They worry that anything negative or "unnecessarily aggressive" may hurt their investments in the short-term, instead of seeing it as a launching pad to greater rewards through more robust solutions, analysis, and understanding in the long-term.

What you wrote is straight-forward, critical, honest and blunt. Sometimes the truth is tough for some people to accept. But in reality, at the end of the day, we're all better off and stronger for the effort. If there's a valid objection, bring on the critical discourse. If people want to throw more "lipstick" on their pigs, well, I hear colleges have lots of "safe spaces" for that sort of stuff these days.

Finally, in all fairness, I disagree with those who downvoted @solar's comment. Agree or not, he still has the right to say his piece, as we have the right to share our perspectives as well. Whether it's me, @officialfuzzy, or @solar, simple disagreements or misunderstandings should not be grounds for censoring one another. For the most part, we all have the best intentions of the community at heart, each offering many contributions as proof to that end.

And that's what makes STEEMIT a great place to be...

I wasn't really saying his post was FUD, I was saying its best not to pose responses to VB so defensively when the FUD is created by other community members rather than VB himself (I view his responses as theory based, and haven't attacked EOS as system, but have pointed out where he believes the systems differ and where EOS may be weaker).

Thanks for your last bit, i thought my comment was very fair, all i did is point out a few things on his approach (he even changed the posts header photo after responding to my comment).

@nextgencrypto won't you at least comment on down voting my comment? I wasn't talking shit or spreading false information. There are way less constructive comments on this thread.

Eh, I just think this makes Vitalik sound insecure, not @dan. Right now Vitalik has the more highly valued crypto, so his comments seem of the 'protesting too much' variety to me.
