EOS ICO begins in only 24 hours, so get prepared

EOS is a token to hold if you have a long term view. The ideal situation is to get as big of a percentage stake you can at the cheapest price point you can. I don't know how many I'll be able to get but I am convinced that these tokens will become very important over the next 5 years.

Best of luck.

Thx for sharing definitely want to be there !

Do you think they will rise in price afterwards ICO ? Maybe, on the contrary, they will fall a little on stock exchanges?

I agree...I think a fall or stability sounds more reasonable than an increase like most ICOs. Mainly because it's uncapped for an entire year!

Rise/ fall of the price is dictated as in economics by demand/ offer, so mainly, the market will decide about the price (of course if no major issues/ problem appear on the horizon which will drag down the price).

I don't think it will rise. Most people just buy it because it is very hyped.
Good luck !

Since it's uncapped, I'm going to avoid the first 5 days. After that, maybe...

exactly

See my post on my EOS ICO strategy if you have a chance

I agree with you. I am nervous as hell though for some reason. I feel it will be a mad rush. I want to wait til the mad rush dies down....
are you going to write EOS ICO for Dummies?

Stella I may be mistaken but the mechanics seem fair enough that the initial 5 day window is definitely worth at least something - furthermore it looks like it becomes more fair the more participants. Even if u dont really invest u may just be helping make it more fair for the rest of us

Part of me thinks the best time to buy this might be 6 months from now when all the "get rich quick" ICO fans start to realize this ICO goes on for a full year and their plan to pop in and pop out at 10x returns won't work. My hunch is the price will start high and go lower over time. That seemed to happen with BitShares and Steemit. I really want a lot of EOS long term, but I also want to be smart about it.

OMG my vote actually gives more than 0.01 now my tributes for whale ball fondling are worth more now!! take my money

I'm not sure how the going distribution of tokens for the next year will affect the price. I would the price to decrease as the amount of tokens increase in circulation. Only after that could I see a continuous increase in price.

Hey , just starting in the crypto world , at what price will start ? it would be very low because it's just starting or ?

I've heard great things about EOS. One of them being that it could surpass Ethereum. Looking forward to this awesome crypto opportunity.

il look into this

Check this out ... "US-IP detected, participation not allowed"

Land of the free huh?

I noticed that last week. What's to stop someone from using an offshore proxy server?? LOL

Nothing ... its the EOS server which is restricting your participation. I see this as a buffer against liability; the SEC is the US will see that EOS attempted to restrict people from labelling this as a security. Essentially if you live in the US - you have to use a different country's internet to BUY in. It's a buffer against legal action against EOS by the SEC. I don't think its illegal to participate in this ICO either.

I wish I could "earn" the token as opposed to giving them my virtual federal reserve notes. ;)

GASP omg I'm such a noob! I missed out on a ICO because it was restricted, didn't think to use a vpn!

I checked the web-site. ;) I will definetly participate.

Good luck🔥

YOU sound like every other person trying to get in on an ico..... you dont have any real information on the business or idea and you want to put money into it....idiot. i need my ow. Coin for people like you.

I will take a look at the history. Thanks for sharing.

I must read a bit about Eos can you suggest me a good feed @dana-edwards
Thank you for your help and support

OH sorry I just saw the link

Certainly seems like it has the potential to become something really BIG. I wonder why "US IP detected-- participation not allowed" comes up? Is that intentional, or is it guvmint interference?

The risk of SEC interference is why.

Thanks FDR!! Why do we even have the SEC? Most SEC officers probably work for Goldman Sachs

Oh well... I guess I will just have to pretend I'm a Danish citizen (which I am...) and it's coincidental that my computer currently resides in the US.

LOL! You gotta love those imaginary lines...

i THINK so true.. but thinking is not certain... allthough it is a nice project...

@dana-edwards I'm very excited by this ICO too...but there's something that is troubling me. This is an excerpt from the faq section:

"The EOS Tokens do not have any rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features, express or implied, including, without limitation, any uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features on the EOS Platform."

What's your take on this?

The EOS token is only used for the ICO. You will need to prove your property with those tokens, which probably give you an equivalent on the working platform. So don't lose them and follow instructions regarding linking.

Good luck :)

Some more info about this coin? Why it is so special?

Why is participation from the US not allowed? I really want to get in on this :(

Whew, here we go! This is going to be exciting.

Just wondering if you live in the US? Apparently residents of the US can not purchase the EOS tokens. See https://eos.io/faq.html question 17. I hoped to be involved in this ICO but it looks like I will have to find another way to buy tokens, since I am a US resident.

That is to protect them from the SEC and really has nothing to do with US Citizens having the right to acquire the tokens by unofficial means. If someone other than the development team will sell you the token then ti doesn't matter. If you are sneaky enough to use VPNs and get around it then the EOS team at least didn't authorize you.

IP filtering or just asking them if they are a US citizen is a way to protect the issuer from SEC regulation.

Thanks for the explanation!

I'm fairly new to cryptocurrency, thanks for all your information
