EOSBet Community Update
May 10, 2019
Dear EOSBet Community,
We hope you are all doing well! April was EOSBet’s strongest month since December and saw us consistently giving away over 6,000 EOS per day. The Jackpot has more than tripled in size already, and there has been a steady increase in BTC/LTC betting, which is a great sign. Volume across all dapps has been down a bit this week, likely due the turmoil surrounding Bitfinex and Binance. Nonetheless, the team has been hard at work!
Fun with Funnels
A primary focus over the past few weeks has been enhancing our overall marketing strategy. To help visualise this, we’ve been working with marketing and conversion funnels.
A marketing funnel is as a conceptual device that brings a user through the following flow:
Before we spend tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars on awareness, it’s important to have a strong conversion rate between “consideration” and “betting”. If we are bringing new faces to the site, it’s crucial that prospective users feel compelled to sign up, and that this process is extremely easy. The ultimate goal is to take someone unfamiliar with the platform (perhaps they see an ad on Coin Market Cap), and turn them into a loyal player and advocate of EOSBet.
Additionally, we are working to strengthen our conversion funnel. The idea is similar, but focuses more on specific parts of our website/signup flow that can be improved in order to increase conversions and decrease bounce rate. Below is an example conversion funnel. You can of course break each step down into more specific components.
We are redesigning our landing page and developing a user walk-through/tutorial system in order to increase the number of new visitors who end up betting. We’ll be testing and refining these features over the next couple of months. Here’s a sneak preview:
Development Updates
We are in the process of greatly increasing our BTC and LTC bankrolls. This will raise the maximum bet, as many have requested.
Additionally, the team has been hard at work with ETH acceptance!
We’ve added an FAQ page. Chinese/Korean versions will be up next week.
We are also looking to hire another full-time developer who will focus on frontend work. This will help us get games and new features out faster! If you’re interested, get in touch on Telegram!
Other Updates
Binance event in Manila
Our Philippines Ambassador, Denden, was in Manila for the Binance meetup to spread awareness about the dapp space and help teach people about EOSBet. The event focussed on discussing the benefits that decentralised platforms like EOSBet have over their centralised counterparts.
A lot of people received some cool EOSBet gear, and the Elastos project even left to go create an EOSBet account. We will continue to create a buzz globally and attend events around the world!
Malta
Frej has been invited to the Malta Blockchain Summit and will be meeting with the Prime Minister of Malta.
Malta has quickly become the “blockchain isle”, with many crypto heavy weights moving to the country, like Binance. The country also has a strong reputation as a leader in the iGaming space, and many land-based operators are interested in learning more about the use of blockchain technology. We’ve made some considerable progress in the country, and some partnerships may be lurking around the corner.
Hope you all have a fantastic next few weeks!

Would be cool if LN deposits were added for bitcoin and litecoin
