Code of Conduct

Commitment

EOS Block Tree commits to having ongoing discussions with all token holders within all our communication channels, as well as designated community communication channels. We do our best to form a consensus within the token holder community by listening to all token holders opinions.

Constitution

EOS Block Tree will support and defend the guidelines and governance set forth by the EOS.IO Constitution. In order to protect the network, we will not comply with any requests that are forbidden by the Constitution. We try to ensure the constitution is transparently communicated to all token holders. EOS Block Tree will adhere to the Telos Governances provided below and will adapt to any and all future changes made to the Governance documents in the future.

Arbitration Decisions

EOS Block Tree will adhere to and support any arbitration ruling made by an appointed arbitrator. We will do all means necessary to ensure the ruling is carried out.

Ethical Standard

We declare we will always act with honesty and integrity while applying the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our conduct. This includes abiding by the EOS.IO Constitution and Block Producer Agreement.

Network Infrastructure

Network performance will be one of our priorities. We are committed to running high-end bare metal infrastructure to ensure that we give the Telos Network the resources that it needs. We will never just meet the "minimum requirements". We will always strive to be one the top performing block producers on the network and will scale our hardware as the network grows.

Financial Autonomy

EOS Block Tree is funded and bootstrapped immediately by the founding team’s personal capital. It will disclose any investment into the company in complete transparency. EOS Block Tree will not allow any investor to have financial or operational control. EOS Block Tree will never own a percentage of another Block Producer Company.

Collaboration and Community

We believe it is a combined effort of the entire community to effectively run and govern the Telos Blockchain. EOS Block Tree participates in open discussions with the community to contribute to any current technical or governance issues. With the decentralized and open source nature of Telos, based on EOS.IO, the role of a block producer is to lead from the front, nurturing an environment where collaboration is encouraged.

Against Collusion

We will commit to do everything in our power to prevent collusion, vote buying, bribery, or other unethical acts. We ourselves will not be involved in any such acts and will do what is needed to preserve the integrity of the Telos Network.

Amendments to our Code of Conduct

Amendments to our Code of Conduct will be informed by the community’s will and will be broadcast to community members through all viable communication channels before formal adoption.
