Our Mission - A Peer to Peer Decentralized Aid Governance Mechanism

----- REAL PEOPLE, REAL LIVES, REAL WORLD ------- LET'S MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE ----

EosLove declares its mission for block chain based governance for socio-economic growth and management across wide variety of social services and aid organizations on a peer to peer decentralized governance basis.

EOSLove is pleased to announce its BP candidacy for the EOS Blockchain. We are a seasoned team of technical individuals with strong technical backgrounds and management professionals with a great penchant for working towards making the blockchain paradigm an ideal solution to solve many social and economic inequalities that ail this modern world of ours in different parts.

EOSLOVE Is founded on the principles of equality, fraternity and a kinship that we all share at various points in our life with the others we live with. But many have never made a concerted effort to assert themselves to make a difference in other people's lives - especially the most needy and deprived of the society. A lack of decentralized means, lack of transparency and the lack of trust of various middle parties involved has been a problem here as well.

Behind all the glitter and glory of technology and wealth arrayed across a spectrum of the society, there lurks deep behind the hidden alleys - a lot of despair, lack of opportunity, exploitation of children and women (whether it be in form of labor or prostitution), lack of food, appropriate medical care, homelessness and many more to speak of.

We at EOSLOVE have decided to dedicate ourselves to the betterment of the society in various walks of life where we see inequality and injustice persisting. After having lived a life of reasonable plentiness and having reached our career peaks to our satisfaction, giving back to society and making technology work for the betterment of the mass population is what our job satisfaction will be at this point of our lives.

The principles behind which EOS has been built based on value of life, liberty and property, and the technology stack behind it appealed to us as a suitable vehicle to take our mission forward mainstream. There is probably no better mechanism than a blockchain for the transparency and agility we need to display in our socially benefiting endeavors.

With this as the basis of our life's aspiration, we are setting out on a journey to change the world by offering help where it is really needed in the most efficient and cost effective way. Our team comes from wide variety of backgrounds and cultural/national boundaries which will provide us a unique perspective on how to approach the various problems that ail the many different sections of society across various cultures and nations.

Technical Specs and Estimates

Our current systems are hosted on AWS servers in US East Region and US SE Asia /Singapore region.

The current instances specifications are:

Active Block Producer: m5.4xlarge, 16 core cpu, 64 GB RAM and 300 GB HD (US East)
Standby Block Producer: m5.4xlarge, 16 core cpu, 64GB RAM and 300 GB HD (SE Asia)

We estimate that a 64 core CPU upgrade and 1 TB RAM with 4TB HDD will be required at minimum during the launch.

Our Block Producer Schematic configurations we are working with are shown below:

Scaling plans after 3rd June

Our scaling plans after June 3 include moving to our own data processing center at Singapore and US West coast with high end servers with 128 core CPU, 2TB Ram, 8TB Hard disk and 10 GB bandwidth provisioning in our collocation facilities. With the experience gained in the cloud based implementation and understanding of the system capacity needs, we will be better positioned to take the challenge of migrating to a bare metal environment with a fail over protection to cloud services also.

Community Benefit Project Plan

Our extended team at ground level is comprised of people from US, Africa, India and China who each have their own unique perspective of their local environments and the most pressing socioeconomic problems. We intend to be a bridge and an enabler between the entire world community and the last mile organizations at the lowest level so as to bond together the needy and needful with the proper resources at the proper time. This apart we are planning on the ground level to work with many major organizations in various countries including United Way, World Bank, United Nations, a number Charitable foundations and local organizations to facilitate technology and knowledge transfer as it relates to the delivery of end point care and services in the areas we are focusing on
delivering aid.

We intend to develop a series of DApps which covers a wide cross section of societal concerns and pain points which most of us are aware of. The decentralized applications and the mechanisms they will put in place for the transfer of aid and associated values, could be done in the most easiest way possible at the touch of a finger tip by anyone who wants to be a donor and the benefits received by the recipient in the most transparent and conspicuous way. A complete supply chain management and surplus management to cater to the needs of the various organizations working in the social welfare sector is what we are aiming for.

Our planned areas of DApp development include the following among many more to be planned in future:

  • Hunger Relief, Food and Nutrition Management programs (Here we will connect the wealthy and well to do sections with the needy and poor sections of the society. Believe it or not, more than what it costs for food and nutrition, the transportation costs are a major factor that affects the cost of delivery. We intend to work with various regional and multi national transport organizations to make this transportation process easier and cheap if not free, by enabling them to transparently handle such humanitarian mission as a part of their daily life and work ethic. All this being done on a blockchain is the most superior way of transparently doing it and making sure that the goods are delivered.)

  • Refugee Relief programs and Missing Persons Management Programs

  • Homelessness and Shelter Homes Management (Think of the many (including many honored veterans become poor) who are turned away homeless shelters in US for lack of space and many having to spend their cold freezing nights outdoors. If only we could link up the various shelters and provide mechanisms to provide them shelter and food and provide the transportation they need to move around, that will be a biggest service we could do. There is no registry as such for homeless now. Add to it finding employment opportunities for many of them who have many skills and education as well but are in their current state due to various misfortunes they had to come across).

  • Child Labor and Exploitation (This is a prevalent problem in many developing countries as well developed countries. A lack of a reporting mechanism at national and world levels is an issue in proper policing and implementation of policies and punishing of the wrong doers. We are hoping that with an EOS blockchain based system we will be able to bring better awareness to these ailing social issues and provide sufficient proof and evidence by different witnesses who can come forward and help control the proliferation of such acts.)

  • Natural disaster and calamity warnings and disaster relief operations All said and done, there is a big need for coordination of activities among the various agencies providing care to those stricken with natural disaster and some man made calamities like wars. We see that opening up specific decentralized blockchains is essential to coordinate the work of aid delivery and making sure that the right amount and right varieties of aid are supplied rather than surplus of some and lack of many and they are timely delivered by the various transportation and middlemen involved.

  • Free availability of emergency and non emergency medical care to all sections without financial ability to support themselves. Again coordination of medical care and population health management are becoming major issues governments and even private insurance organizations are having to deal with. Avoidance of major epidemics or reduction in diseases can be achieved by better care management and sharing of information across various geographical and jurisdictional areas. What better a way exists than a blockchain based system to help coordinate these activities and connect surplus resources and care staff in one place with another as well as keep a continuous monitoring system on top of it all?

  • Appropriate medical care management and provide alternatives to fight inefficient care afforded by various insurance companies We find that a lot of diseases like cancer could have been prevented or mitigated a long before they take their monstrous shapes if only, not for the oppressive tactics played by many insurers in approving and authorizing claims and some treatment procedures. We hope to bring best practices in to the disease management and patient care by bringing forward mechanisms through blockchains to put an end to these malpractices.

  • Create and manage consumer watchdogs and recommendation bodies across a wide section of governmental services that do not produce the intended benefits to its final recipients. This could include anything from corruption by middlemen / government vendors, politicians to mismanagement of funds by inefficient investment choices and poor execution and management of these services. We hope to bring the private sector efficiency into the public sector undertakings. We consider this to be one of the most direct areas where there is a big bang for the buck.

We will be doing detailed requirement analysis and pilot project implementation along all these above areas of our social involvement interests and introducing DApps (Decentralized applications) and the decentralized solutions in a combination of online and offline means to achieve the desired results.
