"But who would build the ROOAADDSSS?!"
Additionally, "Who would hold people accountable for rape, murder, theft, and fraud!?"
"Who would provide for the poor?"
.."Teach our children?"
To think I expected you to list "Who'll control the nukes?!"
All of the above are either already done by private companies or would be better off being done by them.
I went through six months of training to be sworn in as a reserve deputy in my county. They suspended me because of my defense of individual liberty. I'm also a registered private investigator within Virginia.
Everything you listed can and should be done by the private market. Nukes? Who's going to insure someone who has one?! They would simply go away, and people would pay a very heavy price for their use.
Not sure exactly what you're getting at. I certainly don't have all the answers of who would control the nukes. The point I was trying to make was that platforms like EOS could be a host for viable alternatives, as well as being ones that are obvious to the general public that challenge governments monopolies on these services.
Good for you for standing up to what you believe in. As someone who majored in criminal justice with the intent to go into law enforcement, that really resonates with me. Did you go into law enforcement/ P.I. before or after you became a voluntaryist?

I always wanted to be a detective and tried in the 1990's to get hired as a police officer. Reverse discrimination because of quotas made that not happen. Then I gave up and got into IT work instead.
Fast forward to a few years ago, and I became a PI in Virginia. I never gave up on my dream, but it took me a while to get back to it. Now I have my own PI business, and I also do residential security consulting. I became a voluntaryist before becoming a PI.
I wasn't giving you a hard time above. I was agreeing with you. All I was joking about is usually people will revert to, "Oh, yeah?! Who'll control the nukes???" ha ha
