Resources system in the EOS network is a serious obstacle for a fully on-chain project. We’ve been dealing with this problem since the launch of PokerChained, attempting to provide our players with the gameplay as frictionless as possible.
Recent update of the EOS network to the 1.8.0 version has significantly helped us on the way to achieving this goal - as of today all users’ transactions are made at the PokerChained’s expense. The details of the implementation are also worth noting - we’ve remained faithful to our values and, as always, developed a solution without back-end. It utilizes the node plugin (which was also developed by us), which allows to work via WebSocket (we’ve described it earlier in this article).
Despite this update will significantly increase users’ comfort and stability of games - we believe we can develop an even better system. We’ll share our ideas on more optimum solution that will make the EOS user experience even more seamless. Stay tuned :)
P/S The fly in the ointment. Despite all efforts of our team, we can’t provide free transactions for the Scatter users (at least in the foreseeable future). We highly recommend to import private key in the PokerChained’s clients or web-interface (maybe you’ll also want to create a separate account for the game - feel free to use our service for this matter).
Looking forward to seeing you at the table!
Best Regards,
