I got a speculative amount today in EOS as the markets have been dipping. Look at the platform that you're using now (STEEM) and the creator Dan Larimer. (Now resigned from Steem to work on EOS) He seems very bright and wants to take what he's learned from Bitshares and Steemit to EOS under one umbrella. I think the fear that people have though is it just an "idea" at the moment and is super speculative (but so is all of crypto), some people are uncomfortable with the ICO layout and finally how soon will it be before he leaves EOS to work on another project?
Looking at the other projects there are results and EOS has a lot of potential with some major backing partners. I was surprised to see all the exchanges that are already supporting EOS and adoption from wallet providers.
Perhaps I'll put in some more after the dust settles but I don't see too much value in IOTA that EOS wouldn't provide when its developed.
Absolutely agree with you @keonaona. I too have a small amount in EOS based on his track record and the scope of what he wants to accomplish with EOS.
