Tutorial de como fazer para participar da oferta incial dos EOS Tokens

Se você leu meu último post sobre EOS talvez tenha se interessado pela proposta e queira participar da oferta inicial dos tokens (ICO)

EOS Tokens ICO como participar usando Google Chrome + Metamask Wallet

Requisitos:

Instalando a Metamask Wallet

Entre no site da Metamask Wallet e clique em get chrome plugin, e aceite. Para abri-la clique no canto direito do chrome:

Defina seu password e guarde em um lugar seguro.


Pronto agora você tem seu endereço na sua carteira Metamask, envie para ele a quantidade em ETH que desejar.
Se você ainda não possui ETH precisará adquirir e enviar os ETH para o endereço da sua carteira Metamask.

Agora que você tem ETH na sua carteira Metamask entre no site EOS.IO
Clique em "TOKENS"
Clique em "GET EOS"

Selecione as quatro caixas e continue

Role a tela e clique em:

A pagina só irá carregar se a Metamask estiver destravada (aberta com o password)

Agora voce está na página da distribuição dos Tokens e deve ver algo do tipo:

Rolando a página voce poder ver os períodos que ja passaram e os períodos que estão em aberto:

Clique em GET EOS TOKENS

Escolha o período que deseja participar e a quantia em ETH (certifique-se de deixar algum saldo positivo na sua carteira Metamask pois você precisará pagar taxas de transação mais para frente). Clique Send ETH

A Metamask vai abrir ao clicar em Send ETH


Clique em Submit

Concluída a transação irá aparecer sua contribuição no respectivo período:

O preço irá aumentar conforme o período for acabando, geralmente a maioria deixa para contribuir na última hora. Fique atento se for deixar para os últimos minutos do período pois caso a transação não se conclua a tempo você poderá perder seus ETH.

Ao final do período seus Tokens serão creditados:

A minha contribuição de 0.19 ETH arrecadou 38.8821 EOS tokens. Veja que eles ainda estão como “unclaimed”. A opção “CLAIM EOS TOKENS” só ficará disponível depois de registrar sua EOS KEY.

Você precisa agora gerar sua EOS KEY

Mas por que? Quando a plataforma for lançada, será através da sua EOS PUBLIC KEY e da sua EOS PRIVATE KEY que você comprovará que participou da ICO e que possui EOS Tokens, e assim terá direito aos EOS originais equivalente a quantidade de EOS tokens que você possuir. Esta será a única maneira e se você perder ou não registrar sua KEY não terá como comprovar que você tem direito aos EOS equivalentes. Portanto registre a sua EOS PUBLIC KEY e a PRIVATE KEY. Guarde-as em local seguro e/ou offline.

Clique em GENERATE EOS KEY ou CHANGE EOS KEY

Copie a Private key que foi gerada e guarde com segurança. É recomendado que você faça mais de uma cópia da suas Public e Private Keys e as guarde em locais seguros separados.
Agora cola a private key no campo “Confirm private key” e clique “I have safely backed up my private key”

A Metamask irá abrir

Repare que aqui a taxa que veio está muito alta 21 Gwei ou $6.55...Aqui você pode diminuir essa taxa

















Eu acabei diminuindo para 2 Gwei ou $0.61

Provavelmente a transação vai demorar alguns minutos por causa da taxa baixa. Aqui demorou 7 minutos, você pode acompanhar clicando em cima da transação dentro da Metamask...vai abrir a pagina do etherscan com os detalhes...













Pronto agora voce tem sua private key devidamente registrada. Atualize a pagina e voce verá a opcão CLAIM EOS TOKENS habilitada e a sua EOS public key aparecendo:

Clique em CLAIM EOS TOKENS

A Metamask irá abrir

Novamente a taxa veio muito alta $13.04





















Diminui para 2 Gwei e foi para $1.21
Demorou quase 2hrs para concluir desta vez...



















Concluída a transação e atualizando a página:

Pronto! Agora você possui EOS Tokens devidamente registrados e reivindicados!
Você também pode transferir seus EOS tokens se desejar vende-los antes do lançamento da plataforma, ou fazer trade...

...Os EOS tokens vão se tornar fixos(intransferíveis) na Ethereum blockchain 23 horas após o termino do último período de distribuição dos tokens que é em 1 de junho de 2018. É a partir deste momento que quem desejar lançar uma plataforma usando o EOS poderá fazê-lo e assim terá acesso ao registro público (EOS Public Key) de quem possui os EOS tokens na Ethereum BlockChain. Lembrando que não há nenhuma garantia de que alguém irá lançar alguma plataforma usando o EOS e validará seus tokens na EOS blockchain Esse é um dos riscos


Eu pessoalmente vou esperar até o fim da ICO e provavelmente um bom tempo mais após o lançamento para tirar algum lucro, é um investimento para o longo prazo... sei que esta quantidade que eu comprei não é nada... este post foi somente uma demonstração de como comprar e eu também não tenho muito $ para investir e há outras oportunidades como STEEM e etc. Mas pretendo acumular mais alguns EOS até o final da ICO conforme for possível.

    Eu particularmente não gosto do Metamask, já tive alguns problemas com ele, passei a usar MyEtherWallet que é mais estável.

    Parabéns pelo post, está muito bem explicado e ilustrado.

    Concordo, o Metamask por vezes dá algum erro e precisa reiniciar para tentar novamente, estou utilizando ele só para a compra desses EOS...que é o jeito mais simples eu acho...
