Getting ready for EOS and brave new world

Hi Steemiers! We are a team from Moscow — a group of blockchain enthusiasts, tech team are mostly from Mail.Ru Group (Russian analog of Yahoo, 150 mln users). Many of us have left out big companies to develop blockchain applications. And we plan to work hard, to make decentralized software closer to real life. We plan to accomplish our task by designing and implementing smart contracts, development tools, teaching people and doing everyting that can help blockchain to go another step ahead. We're actively trying to skip all that political and informational buzz around crypto, regulation, etc. Our job is to code and develop new tools. We believe that decentralization is the next step in evolution of humanity communication and information services, and it's extremely important to build systems toleranted to interplanetary signal times and network split, that can be used to manage processes among planets, not only on such a small piece of rock like Earth. :)

We've developed many Ethereum solutions and performed many security audits for successful ICOs, developed some prototypes for our clients using Bitshares (patching code) and Steem (development of standalone plugin with custom tx types, storage and indexes). Now we're actively using EOS in our latest research projects: "true" random numbers generation, using SCRAPE protocol (from Cardano article), and a prototype of booking contract (out first experiment). And of course we plan to support EOS in our leading project — Smartz.

Smartz platform supports Ethereum and going to support EOS in a month. It's the long story about it, but in few words Smartz is a "Multi-Chain Smart Contracts Management System". It's ready to use in its minimal form, and we have full development-testing-deployment cycle. Supporting EOS is our strategical task, we plan to add first contract for EOS (in our own EOS network in case mainnet will not be ready) on Smartz in next month. Now one of our biggest problems is the good way to implement client software (we're using Scatter, but we need cross-blockchain solution). For Ethereum we use Metamask and Trust browser-wallet.

We're conducting lectures, workshops and meetups about technical aspects of blockchains, and plan to launch some events about EOS development here in Moscow, we have all needed resources to organize meetups, workshops and lectures in Moscow or elsewhere in Russia and we have connections to students from best Russian technical universities. We participate in different hackatons, and we are going to the upcoming EOS hackaton in Hong Kong June 9-10.

We also plan to be a BP-candidate here in Moscow. We have a ready-to-use AWS infrastructure and know how to build really fault tolerant infrastructure (thanks to experience of handling requests of millions users during Mail.Ru Group career) and deal with possible problems.
