EOS named Mike Lobinsky president, North America, a newly created position.
Here are three things to know:
In his new position, Mr. Lobinsky will report to EOS imaging's CEO Marie Meynadier and be responsible for the company's North America business.
Mr. Lobinsky previously served as the U.S. vice president of sales and implementation—robotics at Smith & Nephew after the company acquired Blue Belt Technologies in 2016.
Prior to his role with Smith & Nephew, Mr. Lobinsky held sales and marketing positions at Stryker, BrainLAB and Ceramco, a division of Dentsply.
In the first half of 2017, EOS reported 15 percent higher equipment sales revenue and 16 percent overall revenue growth.
The company has sold 34 EOS systems in the first half of the year.
"We are convinced that our team will benefit from having a dedicated leader to manage all operations in the U.S., which will provide increased management focus and team alignment as we continue to expand our installed base and pipeline of new opportunities," said Ms. Meynadier.
