I don't know too much about EOS, what is it's utility, why is it so good?

    EOS aims to become a platform to build decentralized apps. It's not meant to be a currency. It's very promising because the founder is Steemit's own Dan Larimer (although he left Steemit at this point). He's shown he can successfully bring projects to completion.
