We are The Swarm. And together, we are unstoppable.

Two New Check Mark Criteria:

1 - Block Producer Candidate Roadmap on values, community project timeline, finances, transparency, or any other topic the candidate deems important. Please show the direction and future of your candidacy in a Steem post for the community. Any roadmap labeled as such by the block producer candidate will earn a check mark - community gauges the effort.

Performance - Maintaining high security and performance of the EOSIO platform are top service priorities for The Swarm BP organization. We seek to collaborate and work with all EOSIO block producers to maintain a robust and high performance network, implementing the best operating and security practices. We are committed to investing in key system upgrades to strengthen the system security and performance of the EOSIO network.

Transparency - We believe Block Producers need to maintain the highest level of integrity within the community. As such, our block producer organization will operate with openness and transparency to the EOSIO community from a financial and operational perspective.

Community - As members of the EOS.IO community, our focus will always be to serve the needs of our fellow global members in helping grow a more prosperous ecosystem. The members of EOS.IO are the foundation that will make all of this possible.

Community Project Timeline:

Our first line of business is ensuring the security and performance of EOS.IO. In service of that goal, we remain committed to collaboration with our BP peers in preparation of mainnet launch.

After the initial launch, the Swarm will focus on developing our dapp community incubator program in conjunction with established technology not-for-profits. We will offer incentives and resources to dapp developer teams for creating new user tools with an anticipated focus in the areas of voting and technical support. By Q3 2018, The Swarm BP organization anticipates release of EOS.IO Storage integration plans to the global community.

Finances:

The Swarm organization is a self-funded team made up of entrepreneurs who want to see the EOSIO platform succeed. Our goal is to remain a self-funded organization and seek no financial contributions outside of the original founders. We plan to focus on conducting operations in a conservative manner, committing additional investments to equipment and staffing only as required by network demand. By maintaining our funding source independence , we believe we can better align our initiatives, investments and support with the global EOSIO user community.

Additionally, our organization will maintain proper allocation of asset/cash flow management and sound budgeting practices to prepare for periods of price declines and volatility to successfully weather storms and/or crypto recessions.

The Swarm BP organization intends to fully cooperate in any initiatives for voluntarily self-reporting and disclosures or third party audit requirements of our organization’s financials statements should it ever be requested by the EOS community.

2 - Position on Dividends (The sharing of Block Producer inflation rewards with unaffiliated voters, AKA "vote buying.") Please describe the block producer candidate's stance on sharing inflation rewards and/or paying dividends to EOS token holders.

Will the organization offer payment to EOS token voters for any reason, including BP elections AND worker proposals?

The Swarm is against any use of direct payment from BP’s or reward sharing to EOS token holders.

Does the organization have a written policy of no-payment for votes? If so, please provide a link. (see below)

Vote buying of any kind is not permitted by any members within The Swarm block producing organization. The Swarm will seek to enforce the rules of the EOSIO constitution which forbid vote buying by any accounts, block producer organizations and or person(s) within the EOSIO chains and communities.

Vote buying places the risk of the platform’s integrity, which may further degrade other elements of the EOSIO system - including governance. The damage caused by vote buying is a direct attack on all members who follow the EOSIO constitution, and can result in the interference of members rights to secure life, liberty and property.

It is critical to allow for a fair voting process which enables tokens to be selected for the candidate which represents the best interest of EOSIO constituents, not the candidates with the most funding to pay off voters. Vote buying penalizes all potential block producer candidates who may be already at an economic disadvantages, and may prevent the platform from evolving in the best interest of the community - thereby impacting token usage and value.
