We are The Swarm. And together, we are unstoppable.
Why “The Swarm”?
In nature, a swarm is a self-organized, decentralized, collaborative system working instinctively to achieve goals. The power of a swarm is in emergent properties; simply put, the total exceeds the sum of its parts.
We recognize the strengths of the entire EOS community to mobilize and quickly adapt to challenges. The Swarm is an extension of these strengths; our vision is one with an open invitation to community contributions.
We have a special opportunity to accomplish something truly great. But the end-result is shaped from all of our actions. That’s why, as we announce our candidacy for Block Producer, we invite you to join The Swarm. It takes a legion of disruptors to make a revolution a reality.
Let’s work together to build the best foundation for the future.

Geographical Region Oklahoma, USA (Testnet Virginia)
Political Region USA
Testnet:
1 Processor 4 Cores
16 gb ram100 gb SSD
Moderate Network Bandwidth
UPS System - Data Center
BP-server Expected:
Type: Cloud
8-16 Core

Scaling Plan
Our plan is to utilize cloud servers in the early stages of operations and as EOS requirements become more known we will begin deploying a cloud/hardware hybrid server approach to allow for faster scaling and better diversification. As we scale out BP operations, The Swarm will work to expand the technical expertise of staff and community support resources across the globe for 24/7 system monitoring and operations.
We expect to continually review the performance requirements necessary to carry out all EOS network operations. As the network matures and bandwidth demand grows, the swarm expects to add additional hardware and investments required to ensure a robust distributed infrastructure is maintained for operations and community outreach services.
We intend to release technical specifications and comprehensive scaling strategy updates regularly as usage trends and changing requirements of EOS.IO are made available.
Geographical Expansion
There are currently two planned locations located in Oklahoma City with an additional five proposed locations in other areas/regions to be deployed as soon as the specifications and requirements of the network are more fully known.

Community
The Swarm derives its strength from the entire EOS community. Without the support and unique experiences from each member of the community, we would be nothing. With your help, we can be unstoppable.
Our main focus will be on reinvesting in the community and fulfilling all needs of the EOS.IO network as it grows. This means making meaningful contributions to the EOS.IO collective body of knowledge and fostering a culture of collaboration on a global scale.
To do this, we plan to promote awareness and help the EOS.IO platform achieve mainstream adoption by supporting local meetups, conferences, hackathons, and any other community-driven events. We’ll also serve as an active voice in the major EOS Telegram groups, providing our insight on topics such as governance, implementation, and expansion for the community.
Your success is our success. We will strive to expand and improve the EOS.IO platform in any way we can. If you have an idea that you think could be beneficial, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always looking for ways to build a better community!
