Did you know that there is a way to earn tokens from the EOS network(s) by using your computing power to help humanity?
Description:
You can “mine” and earn certain EOS tokens like TRYBE, ATMOS, WAX, VIG, KARMA, EFX, TLOS, KROWN, DAPP, or BOID. Join the EOS social supercomputer, where you can use your CPU computing power to help the world (like finding a cure to coronavirus). You can also use your GPU to mine, but your computer power will be put towards mining cryptocurrency instead of social tasks. Both will reward you with power and BOID tokens (more on BOID tokens later). Learn more about the social tasks by clicking here.
After mining for a day or two on a spare CPU-only laptop, I earned 419.38 power! The more power you get, the more BOID you can get paid. Power gets lost over time, so you need to keep mining.

Earning Tokens:
By joining teams, you’ll be entered into proportional and random prize pools.
Earning BOID:
You’ll also earn guaranteed BOID tokens (in addition to the prize pool tokens), which you can stake to gain more BOID. BOID is paid based on mining power and staked amount. Referrals:
You can earn social power by referring users. You will earn a bonus of 5% of a referral’s power after the referral’s power reaches 1000.
Personal Experience and Knowledge Learned:
The application and dashboard are pretty intuitive, and their telegram support is great. I was running low on EOS CPU/RAM, and the BOID team gladly helped by staking some EOS through the REX to my account to allow me to stake my BOID, and they pointed me to the instructions on the EOS BOID command parameters that I could input on bloks.io for free. Your power updates once every day, and you’ll only start getting paid after you reach 100 power for a few days. The app pauses when the other applications are taking up too much processing power. You can configure how much processing power to devote to BOID by clicking the settings button under CPU or GPU on the DASH page of the application. An EOS wallet is needed for claiming and staking, as all the BOID tokens will be sitting directly in your EOS wallet balance (I recommend the Scatter wallet for this). Overall, this is a great program to contribute to social tasks such as helping find a cure to coronavirus while being rewarded with guaranteed stake-able tokens and a chance to win a slice of amazing prize pools.
