1. Dapps will outbreak
Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are still in their early age. We could say so because currently, this emerging technology is still immature. Today almost every person can use a computer to surf the internet, but there are very few people can explain what on earth the Bitcoin is, or even fewer people know how to buy Bitcoin. Another proof is, after around 2 decades of development of the Java technology, there are about 9 million Java developers in the world today, but there are maybe less than 20,000 smart contract developers now.
If we look back in the history of the internet, it took a relatively long time to complete the infrastructure. If Ethereum was the first operating system for blockchain, then there must be some other operating systems coming out soon. EOS will definitely be one of them. And what more important is, the applications. No matter how advanced a new technology is, there must be some ways that every user can benefit from. Just like using apps running on Android and IOS, people can communicate much much easier than ever before. In the world of the blockchain, similar things are happening. It can be foreseen, the distributed apps will be more and more popular among normal users.
2. Dapps will be mobile
CryptoKitties is one of the most successful dapps now. If we take a closer look at the team's roadmap, we will find the next step is to put their kitties on mobile and users can buy kitties by using credit cards. Besides the use of various industries, such as fintech, supply chain, the dapps for consumers will bring blockchain to their daily life. Be aware or not, users will share their digital collections, sending and receiving instant messages, invoking transactions and so on, on the blockchain, on mobile phones.
3. EOS is made for developing dapps
Creating a dapp is painful. With the web3 library, we can write and debug smart contract. But smart contract is not equal to a dapp. What about the other parts? What about managing users' account? How to integrate with the payment gateway, so users can buy and sell with fiat? There are many common features that real distributed applications should have and the platform, should extract these features and provide APIs to developers. Thank god, EOS is just made for that. So developers will love it.
4. Ethereum has its limitation
Even with working in Hybrid mode (PoS+PoW), Ethereum can't support lots of dapps running on it simultaneously. The congestion of transactions will kill a dapp, if the throughput is not enough. According to the plan, in the middle of this year, sharding will be implemented and deployed on Ethereum main network. Will sharding be solving the congestion issue? And how many transactions per second can be supported? We actually do not know, for now, we only have some theoretical numbers.
Conclusion
Because dapps are changing the world, and EOS is focusing on the improvement of the development of dapps, it will be adopted by more and more blockchain developers. Thus the value of EOS will be realized by more and more people, then reflected on markets.

The contract of EOS should support more modern languages later, cpp is great but it's not so easy and common to many developers.

if steem is anything to go by then i'd say you are exactly right.

As steemit grows fast, steem will be more stronger, too.
