WORBLI WEEKLY UPDATE: Tuesday, July 31 2018
Heatwaves, Airdrops, and Launchpads
Keeping cool in the midst of one of the hottest summers on record is hard enough. But when your project starts ramping up, you have no choice but to maintain focus. We have had an exciting past few weeks at WORBLI: growing our team, forming new partnerships, and hitting new milestones. But the momentum is not slowing down, even in this heat.
As things ramp up here at WORBLI, we want to keep our entire community well-informed of every single development. This is why I have started the WORBLI weekly update. So let’s get into it:
First, we have a LOT of new team announcements in our pipeline – too many to mention here – so watch this space for updates. What I will say is that the WORBLI team is now 20-strong and growing (excluding our Strategic Partners). It is this influx of talent that is powering the project forward and ramping up activity to hitherto unforeseen levels.
As our team grows, our network expands. We are pleased to congratulate our advisor David Packham on joining Credify as an advisor. Based in London, David Packham is the co-founder of block producer EOS42! and one of the leading lights of the EOS community. We are super excited to learn he is working with Credify! which is another vital EOS project led by its multi-talented CEO, Dallas Johnston. Credify uses a counterparty reputation protocol that provides a real solution to maintaining the credibility of individuals, and they’re a business Worbli can certainly partner with in the future.
In terms of our own project, we are very proud to announce that we will be adding the Worbli Network Fund to our platform. The fund is similar to the EOS mainnet Worker Proposal System. We will use this vehicle to support entrepreneurs and network participants working with Worbli Financial Services Network. Check out the details in our latest White Paper!
To reflect these changes, we have had an overhaul of our website. Check out the new landing page here! and look out for a full version in the coming fortnight! We will also have details on our upcoming Airdrop of 1 Billion “WBI” Tokens to the EOS Community – set for September 14, 2018. Stay tuned to find out how you can take part, and share in our future.
Thank you all for your continued support, and watch this space for more updates.
We look forward to you joining us on Telegram and connecting with our community.
Stay cool!
