EOS Controversy/Advice???

in eos •  7 years ago

As soon as I heard about the EOS ICO I tried to jump on board. How could I not? I was just a fresh fish in these crypto seas. The tides were rising and EOS looked like a school of juicy mackerels. Despite my lack of experience I did my due diligence and read the white paper. 2 of my ether coins later and many people are crying 'foul' and posting about how the EOS token is "worthless". When I read the whitepaper I dismissed the lines in question as legalese. Did I jump the gun? If so, where the fuck can I sell my EOS tokens? Has Dan Larimer addressed this?

I realize people have posted on this before but I haven't found any real answers. Also I'm brand new to this site and new to cryptos in general so don't bust my balls mmkay?

It is not worthless, EOS still is being developed that is why it is an ICO. If you want to sell your EOS you can send your EOS to exchanges like Kraken. I use HITBTC when trading for EOS.

EOS is just starting up and there is no warranty that it will make it. But if you look at what it is trying to accomplish you just have to take a second look. Imagine that you would be given a chance to enter into Bitcoin back in 2010 when it was around 0.05$ per BTC. How much would you buy back then? Would you say "sure I'll risk 5$ and buy 100 BTC"... sure it is possible that you could loose 5$ or gain 350k 7 years latter? You are being given a second chance to take a part at something new taking place...

That's how I see it too. Thanks for the reassurance.

I heard some good things about eos too but i know nothing about it.
