Home to more than 200 dApps with the number of active daily users peaking to 21k, EOS took the lead in the real adoption of blockchain-based applications. Such an intense utilization of EOS blockchain causes its users to surge past their allocated CPU resources unexpectedly.
While a systemic solution is still being developed, Attic Lab cooperates with CODEX Exchange to launch the EOS CPU Aid Campaign. The Campaign is designed to meet the needs of traders who actively use EOS dApps. During the following month, all the traders registered with CODEX will be able to request a delegation of 50 EOS for CPU for three days completely free of charge. Though the number of requests is unlimited, one account can get one delegation at a time. Initially, 15,000 EOS is allocated to the Campaign with the possibility of increasing the said amount.
As a Block Producer, Attic Lab recognizes the CPU issue and collaborates with other teams on finding a sustainable solution. As a software development company, Attic Lab wants its products to deliver the best user experience regardless of market conjuncture. For that reason, Attic Lab contributed to the EOS CPU Aid Campaign by developing the backend.
CODEX acknowledges the needs of its customers and aims to offset the pain points that may arise during their trading activity. Part of CODEX traders is active users of EOS dApps. Realizing that some of them might be torn between trading and CPU staking lately, CODEX allocates a portion of its EOS holdings to the EOS CPU Aid Campaign. CODEX aims to help its users trade while still being able to use their favorite dApps.
