There has been quite a lot of education going on, but it’s really hard to make people take is seriously. And of course it’s going to be possible to automate a large number of disputes. But what people forget, even the eBay dispute resolution is a funnel with decreasing automation as you go through. And at the end of the funnel? Good old-fashioned humans. I’d say right now the system as a whole are building the date to understand what sort of disputes can be resolved automatically. This is the first governed blockchain after all.

Security:

User Modern Liberty: I was far more worried when I first entered crypto than I am now when it comes to security. I think now common sense and some education is all that is needed for Crypto security. User Samupaha: That’s what I’ve been hearing for years. But for some reason we just never seem to reach the state when security is actually easy enough for most people. User Marcin: We all see what’s convenient and then swear by it. I’d be careful with all these assumptions/conclusions. If we want to evolve EOS into something fast, scalable and awesome, copying the same faulty crap onto tech that has a potential of fixing these problems by design is a really backward idea. User Samupaha: The way how I see is this: the old blockchain model is the faulty crap. So far it has been failing as a system that could be scaled for millions of people. So we need to create a new kind of system that can do that. That system is EOS as described in the original vision. Some people just want to hang on the old tech and not take the next step forward, which is combining the blockchain with a legal system. User Todor: Blockchain tech has been eye-opening to me because it has made me realize that there are always humans behind the machines and that we need to find ways to come to agreement with each other that doesn’t always rely on software. Sometimes we won’t be happy with the software and we’ll want to override the results. So better put the human element into a system before it’s too late.
